We are both Christians.
I have given much thought to the topic of submission.
Confession: I did it wrong for many years. 
But God is enlightening me and exchanging beauty for ashes. 
Once I really started digging deeply into God’s Word, I realized that some teaching which passes for “biblical” is fatally flawed in a way which proves destructive and counterproductive, and serves only to undermine marriage, hurt people, and keep them captive.
I share here, not as an expert,
but as a student
in the process of being purified
in the crucible of my own marriage.
We have 8 children between the ages of 5-23 who are my greatest treasures. I wouldn’t mind if you would say a prayer for us to be the best we can be,
